Throughout his decade of service in primary care, Dr. Yury Malachevsky witnessed the intense struggle of individuals without access to high-level psychiatric care. The deep desire to resolve this distress led him to complete training in psychiatry in order to provide this critical support. Dr. Malachevsky’s strength is his exceptional ability to synthesize his patients’ medical and psychological needs with deep sensitivity and personal devotion.

Senior Consultant - Dr. Desmond M. Kaplan, MD, FAPA
Dr. Kaplan was the primary mentor for Dr. Malachevsky throughout his psychiatry training and the driving force in supporting Dr. Malachevsky to start his practice. Dr. Kaplan completed residencies in psychiatry through Johns Hopkins, The Kennedy Krieger Institute, and The University of Tel Aviv. He is board certified in Psychiatry, Behavioral Neurology, and Neuropsychiatry. The majority of his 30 year career was in Baltimore, as Service Chief of Sheppard Pratt's Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry unit for 13 years.
